Submarine is a film that has influenced our film opening because of its genre, cool, calm soundtrack and ability to touch on everyday problems. It is a Coming-of-age drama and that is the sort of genre we wish to touch on with our own film opening. From doing this timeline I have learned that I for the particular style of film the titles can overshadow the film, as long as they are shown with gaps in-between. This gives a type of pattern or rhythm and connects with the films calm pace.
