Evaluation Question 5 - Audience Attraction

After the first initial screening in front of our target audience representative I interviewed them to see what they thought:

Initial reaction on Back At Ya?

Good. Very interesting and very action packed.

What was your favourite part of our film opening?

My favourite part was the enigmatic effect of Rebecca in the first half of the film opening, it made her character really mysterious.

What was your least favourite part of our film opening?

Seeing Rebecca crying because she saw herself being pushed over online. It made me sad to see her being pushed over because before that she was walking through the hallway quite happily.

What do you think we did well?

I think the song choice is great. The beat and lyrics go with the concept of the film creating a perfect mix. Also I liked the part when the camera positioning made it seem as Rebecca stepped over it or walked through it, that looked really professional. I like the way Rebecca seems like she has a really cool style and the clothes she was wearing are so nice!

What do you think we could have done better?

I think for some people it could be hard to read the narrative. A lot happened in the short space of time and it could be easily missed that Rebecca put her revenge video up on YouTube. However I’m assuming as the story carries on that it becomes clearer.

Do you think our film looks professional?

Yes. It looked very professional, I’m surprised by how much it looked like a real film you’d see in the cinema. Well, i’d definitely go to see it in the cinema!

Out of 10 what would you rate Back At Ya?

8
